The 50's. {1950's photoshoot}
I was absolutely delighted and humbled that Kim was kind enough
to be my model and help me with my outlandish fifties project. She was the
perfect and I barely had to do anything, anytime I was ready to tell her to
mover herhands or something she had already done it, she was a dream J
oh and most of these where taken on the Eastern Illinois University campus! such a perfect place, thanks Kim for picking it out!
I loved her thoughtful expressions:)
She had a great idea to do this angle.
I was ecstatic when we found this lockers inside the Eastern Illinois University!
I felt blessed-red lockers AND red doors!
COCA-COLA!
we found these awesome snails lying around! what a awesome surprise!
picnicking!

Kim took the photo on the left-I know she's good no matter which side of the cameras she's on!

Cheers gorgeous! and do enjoy these pictures, but if you don’t that’s okay tooJ

Opportunities.
the quote, its so true, we(or should I say I) wait so long for the perfect opportunity,
when I have the delicious little things right in front of my blue eyes, just begging
for me to take hold of them and see them as something beautiful.

Fourth of July.
“God often uses small matches to light great torches”
I’m contemplating on what celebrating the Fourth of July means. Yeah, I
know it’s a day to celebrate the freedom we have in this country, but here is
the sad thing. The United States is not necessarily free, most of the people
are living in bondage, and they have no clue they are. Now that’s where my
thoughts want to take me, down the mopey road about how bad the States have gotten.
But we still have the freedom to gather to worship God; we still have the
freedom to read our Bible’s, to live our Christian lives. Something that has been nagging me is when we think of going off into the mission field, we
think of some faraway place where people are starving and know nothing about
Christ and I bless the people who minister to them. But what about our own
country? Are we neglecting our own people? If we neglect our people then in the
future how will our children have the ability to help other countries and other
people? Just some thoughts that have been tumbling around in my head for a
while; but I’m still exceedingly blessed to have been born into this country.
Bless the Lord and have a gorgeous Fourth of July.
